At UW-Oshkosh, Carlos Ross played basketball for three years, tennis for three years and football for two years. Ross also had an outstanding career in amateur athletics – playing basketball for the Oshkosh All-Stars, Bucker Malts Amateurs from Milwaukee and Goodyear Tire Company from Milwaukee.
