University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Athletics

John “Jack” Wippich, who currently is the head basketball coach at Kimberly High School, came to that school in 1965 as head football coach. He has enjoyed success at both spots, having won one football title and six conference basketball crowns. Wippich is a three-time recipient of the Basketball Coach of the Year Award in the Fox Valley Association.
 
Wippich was inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in 1992.
